Displays with holes and flexible screens on Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi phones

View of Xiaomi's flexible prototype.

With the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy X or Fold, the Honor View 20 and the Mi Mix Flex, companies like Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi bet in 2019 on mobile phones with screens that have holes and flexible screens that are no longer rigid.

The Honor View 20 is one of Huawei's first mobile phones whose screen has a hole that allows you to remove the eyebrow or sketch and keep small beans. Similar to that mobile phone, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy A8s at the end of the year and expects the Galaxy S10 to have the same function and could even have two holes for two previous rooms.

Now, Samsung has also given us a look at what the Galaxy X would be or Galaxy Foldo, the company's first flexible mobile phone.

Similar to that mobile phone, Xiaomi has published a video where it also shows us a prototype of its folded phone, but although both Xiaomi and Samsung use flexible screens for these new phones, the Samsung device doubles its screen and has an extra panel, the Chinese company has a screen that curves out in a total of three parts.

Huawei and companies like LG have also confirmed to be working on a folded or flexible cell-class, but have not yet shown signs of it.

In fact, in recent years, the design of mobile phones has not evolved dramatically, but they have been specific changes.

However, with these two new trends of screens with holes and flexible displays that allow mobile phones, mobile devices receive new air.

Although I consider that the gap on the screen is much more attractive than a traditional eyebrow because it occupies less space and blocks less content, folding mobile phones or cell phones still to prove that they are really worthwhile, or that they bring some benefit.

Firms are committed to using flexible cell technology to offer a device that can be converted into a board, not only the traditional portable portable device, but also the possibility of having a larger screen to see a entertainment entertaining.

This could be an important benefit, but from what we have seen, this also means that mobile phones are much thicker than current and bending the screen can cause problems in the interface (this may not happen with Samsung's bet from the screen lean inside).

It is clear that none of these technologies is perfect, but they will evolve to offer a better experience. This is just the beginning of these two implementations and it is interesting to see what companies will make a new way to the future cell phones.
