It is that some taxi drivers unions refuse to use new technologies. This Thursday at noon they protested before the Legislature against the project. While complaining about Uber, reject any tool that allows them to compete in times in which they are increasingly paid by electronic systems.

The project, promoted by administrator legislators Natalia Fidel and Cristina García, received 42 positive votes from the Blocks of Vamos Juntos, Socialist Party, Evolution and Better City; 13 negative of the Deputies of Self-Determination and Freedom, Citizenship Unit and the Left Front; and five abstinences of the GEN and the Peronist Block.
According to the new regulations, which is a modification of the Traffic and Transportation Code, taxi drivers must use the digital travel system, and also replace the current taxi. This tablet will be connected to the new Comprehensive Taxi Management System, without drivers can not operate.

When the license expires, taxi drivers will renew it with the new system. In the second half of 2020, Buenos Aires's total flight fleet must be able to pay by credit and debit cards and accept travel through a mobile application. The money will pay valid as an option.
