Surprisingly in the coming week there will be a reduction in prices of naphtha

During the coming week there will be a decrease in fuel prices, averaging between 2% and 4%, depending on the type of naphtha.

Scarlets will rise to 7% on Friday.

The government has already talked to the oil companies about this possibility. Due to the fall in the international price of the barrel of oil, and also that the devaluation of the weight against the dollar also stopped.

During December, there are increases in two taxes: to the issue of carbon dioxide and Transfer to Fuels. The first is fixed and the second adjustments for inflation. So far, they have pushed 23.8% of the commercial price, but this will be higher than the next week.

The drop in prices would be approximately 4%, because refineries – those that transform oil into fuel – would deliver it to 8% less than service stations.

Some refiners estimated, during this week, that the fall in the price of naphthalings should be about 3%. It's because they noticed that the dollar has recovered strength against weight in recent days. However, other companies have taken into account the consideration of the Government, to look at the price of the weight against the US currency throughout the month.

"If the fall of the dollar is lost, because the increase in oil (it has increased by 33%) has never reflected the prices of the sector. It can not go down for what has never been," specifies one of the most listened to petroleum consultants in the sector.

The Energy Secretariat, which reports to the Ministry of Finance, progresses in a "competitive" table for the YPF, Shell, Axion refiners, in which firms and executives can discuss the costs of the sector. Officials think local borders exceed international borders and local administrators want to replicate them.
