Florian Silbereisen and his guests were surprised by a violent thunderstorm during the recording of the "Die Schlager des Sommers" outdoor festival. Now the TV presenter has commented on the incident without any danger.
The recording of the outdoor festival "The Schlager des Sommers" about a month ago was all but planned: The show, which takes place annually at the Wasserschloss Klaffenbach near Chemnitz, had to be interrupted due to heavy thunderstorms.
Now TV presenter Florian Silbereisen commented on the weather-forced break. "This was definitely the most exciting and wet show of my life!", Florian Silbereisen now told Bild.
A show continues after a forced break
For security reasons, the stage and the courtyard of the castle were evacuated during the broadcast. Visitors were encouraged to seek shelter from the storm in their vehicles, according to a Facebook post from the event.
Only in about an hour could the program continue – without compromise. According to the organizers, the vast majority of the audience actually waited patiently for the storm.
Florian Silbereisen's guests include Maite Kelly, Thomas Anders, Alvaro Soler, Oli.P, Stefanie Hertel, Semino Rossi, Jürgen Drews, Sarah Lombardi and Ross Antony.
