Developer Rampage Games announced today GENESIS Especially a new multiplayer online fighting arena (MOBA) experience optimized for controllers. The players plunge into an epic battle between the gods and humanity in a future world.
GENESIS Designed for strategists and action enthusiasts, it is a next-generation MOBA title with a game designed specifically for controllers. The control system brings breath of fresh air to the console genre, making navigation intuitive, accurate and efficient at the same time. On the one hand, players benefit from built-in automation features such as innovative targeting design. On the other hand a controller is the ideal device to offer additional convenient features, such as: enabling directional capabilities, blinking or switching quickly between capabilities and objects.
"We really wanted to bring a true MOBA experience to consoles,"explains Ray Zhu, executive producer at Rampage Games. "The biggest challenge, of course, was to build the game system for controllers. Keyboard and mouse have their benefits, but with the feedback we received from our testers, I'm sure we're just as prepared and the players at GENESIS will feel right at home. "
In addition to a controller-based approach is GENESIS A MOBA that covers every aspect. The right tactics will determine victory and defeat in competitive player-against-player (PvP) battles. Here five-member teams are fighting for control of the galaxy battlefield to gain fame, new weapons and equipment. With a vast list of 28 original heroes, myriad personality options, and one-player storytelling (PvE) mode, there are a seemingly endless number of options that players can explore. Another highlight is the capture mode, where two local players share control of the same hero!
Last but not least, with the power of Unreal Engine 4, developer Rampage Games will bring amazing sights to its ever-expanding science-fiction world, offering one of the most beautiful and detailed MOBAs on a console platform.
GENESIS will be available for free on PlayStation 4 in North America on August 13 and 14 in Europe.
