The first deception: Sex is considered a practice
One of the most common myths is that a nice cracking between the sheets will burn as many calories as a mile and a half cross. A study published by PLOS ONE shows that men averaged 100 calories during intercourse and women – about 69 calories.
Men burn an average of 4.2 calories per minute during sex, compared to 3.1 calories per woman, according to the Human Health Journal. One study estimated that in six minutes of sex for 30 years will burn only 20 calories, which are only 14 more than just sit on the couch and watch television, reported Body + Soul.
Therefore, the claim that sex can replace sport and exercise is an absolute illusion.
Second illusion: For perfect punch, thousands of squats are required
Camila Akerberg assures that there are other ways to get the stiff neck desired, instead of doing thousands of squats for hours.
"One thing is for sure: you do not need hundreds of squats," says the Australian, who has refrained from avoiding similar charges for years because of a severe back injury. "They're a great exercise, but there are still enough varied movements for this purpose."
Third Illusion: Counting Daily Calories Affordable
Regular daily calorie count is unhealthy, even more so that it clings to people and does not last long.
Fourth illusion: Eat green vegetables with a total ban on sugar and alcohol
A healthy diet includes a lot of vegetables, but only green does not last, promising to wither. She believes that a balanced menu of greenery, vegetables, fresh fruits, proteins, healthy fats and good carbohydrates is the key to long term results.
"If you are too strict for yourself and completely deprive yourself of sugar and alcohol by staying only in the plants, the most likely result is a cessation of diet and overeating," says Camilla Ackerberg.

Fifth delusion: absolute ban on all carbohydrates
Sure in recent years you have heard the magic that if you want to lose weight, you need to remove carbohydrates from your menu. Studies support this claim, but the absolute ban on this group may interfere with balance.
Carbohydrates are an important source of energy, so with the right amount and quality they bring the body a sense of satiety, and it certainly helps in the effort to lose weight.
Cinnamon, brown rice, whole grains, vegetables, dairy products and potatoes – these are some of the right sources of carbohydrates that provide long-term energy to help stabilize blood pressure. They also improve mood because they regulate hormones such as serotonin and insulin.
Carbohydrate prevention is another danger, according to Australian nutritionist Lindy Cohen. "Even if you take a kilo of carbohydrates out of your diet, you do not want to do it for the rest of your life, and usually after a complete shortage when you start eating carbohydrates with diets, you'll quickly regain your weight, she says.
