3 teens killed in a pickup truck crash in southwestern Ontario: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police have released the identities of the three people who died after a trapped crash in the East Huron.

Emergency crews were called to the one-vehicle crash in the Brussels community around 7:45 a.m.

Police said a male driver and two male passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth passenger was airlifted to a hospital in London with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The deceased were identified as 17-year-old Dennis Linthorst of Howick Township, 19-year-old Ivan Kuepfer of South Bruce, and 14-year-old Owen Baker of Brockton.

Police have not released the age or identity of the person who was taken to hospital.

Brussels Line between Cardiff and Browntown roads was closed for several hours, and drivers were asked to escape the area.

Brussels is about 100 kilometers north of London.
