A woman in her 20s suffered a serious injury to her face early Sunday after shooting in the West West West District of Toronto.
Police were called to the area of Queen Street West and Ossington Avenue around 2:40 a.m. after somebody reported hearing shots.
A bullet shaved the female cheek, but her wounds are considered non-life-threatening, according to Det. Scott Villers, from the 14th Toronto police division.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. She is now listed in a stable condition. Her exact age was not released.
Villers said police had removed two vehicles from the region because they believed they could be linked to the shooting.
Officials also review security photo cards, he said.
No one was arrested in the shooting and no suspicion description was available.
