DETROIT – Fiat Chrysler recalls more than 182,000 trucks for the world to fix an electrical problem that can hit the power.
The record covers Ram 1500 options from the 2019 year-old model. Most are in the United States and Canada. A third is still on a merchant.
The company said Friday's zero that the battery was not sure assured in manufacturing. The connection can be loosened, which turns off the powerful direction. Drivers can still direct, but the effort it takes would not be consistent.
FCA says it does not report crashes or injuries.
The sellers will secure the setup for free to owners. Fiat Chrysler says it does not have a date for the record to start, but it must start within 60 days under the US law.
