Great announcements of the Game Awards 2018 – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11, and more

While many major companies use E3 to announce new games, The Game Awards has quickly become the target for major announcements at the end of every year.

Ever since The Game Awards made debut in 2014, it has become one of the most important events of the year, which not only leaves prizes for tons of categories, but also presents world premieres for many games.

The 2018 edition of the popular premium program was not different, as some of the most important revelations of the year were saved for the special event.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

The first biggest breakdown of the night was for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order set for release on the Nintendo Exchange in 2019.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was first released in 2006, with a sequel releasing in 2009. Now, almost 10 years later, fans will get to sink their teeth into a new title with all their favorite Marvel characters.

Far Cry: New Dawn

Above was Far Cry: New Dawn, the newest entry into the popular series, which is written for February 15, 2019.

The first teaser for the game was first released on December 5, while the box art also managed to fly before the ceremony on December 6.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-False

One of the most keen franchises in play, Crash Bandicoot returns in the form of a remaster for the popular Crash Team Racing.

Originally released in 1999 for the PlayStation, the new title is a remaster of the game, which includes all the previous content with some up-to-date graphics. It is scheduled for June 21, 2019 launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Playing Games for Players

After weeks of speculation, the newest map for PUBG was finally announced.

The snowy map is called Shannon and will be released for PC servers after the show will end on December 6, with a full edition awaited December 16 and consoles to follow in January.

New weapons and vehicles have also been confirmed, making this update that PUBG players do not want to lose.

Dragon Age

While most fans know Bioware for the series Mass Effect and the next Anthem, the studio also makes the popular series of Dragon Age.

The latest game in the series, Dragon Age: Inquisition, launched in 2014 and was the third major entry into the franchise. No release date was given and no game was shown, which means that fans will probably expect a long wait.

Mortal Kombat 11

When Ed Boon, Director of NetherRealm Studios, went on stage, you just knew that something special had to be in the works and that was exactly on the money, as Mortal Kombat 11 was finally announced.

All the valuable violations and goreas were present in the trailer on a new track of 21 Savage and the game was launched for release on April 23, 2019, with a community revealing an event scheduled on January 17, 2019. Beta closed also scheduled for March 2019.

Ultimate Super Smash Bros.

At last launch in North America immediately after The Game Awards wraps at midnight EST on December 7, but Nintendo has not let it stop them to announce a new character.

Joker of Person 5 was announced as the first DLC character for the new game. No gameplay was shown, but Reggie Fils-Aimé confirmed that players could convene a person during the game.

There was no word about the release date for the first Fighter Pack, but it was confirmed earlier that it would come early in 2019.
