Police released the identity of a woman who died after stabilization in the west end of Toronto at home tomorrow morning. They also identified the suspect.
Hanh "Hana" Nguyen, 41, was found suffering from serious injuries at her home on Mill Ave, near Jane St. and St. Clair Ave. W. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers also found Austin Le, 40, with stabbed wounds. He was taken to hospital and is expected to recover, police said.
He was accused of a second degree murdering in the death of Nguyen.
Nguyen and Le knew each other, Konst. Caroline de Kloet said in a telephone interview. Police did not reveal more information about the suspect and victim's relationship.
