Hana Zagorová has been on the music scene for so long that people can't even imagine her retirement. But the singer himself was talking about him now. Is the end of a career on the table?
This year is exactly thirty years since Hana Zagorová was nearing the end of her singing career. In 1989, she signed a manifesto several sentences and the Communists took revenge on her. But in a few months the regime changed and the popular singer was able to return to the stage.
But at the age of seventy-seven she could easily think of retirement and no one could blame her. "I can't stand without singing, I really can't. I'm not that planner. I'm a fatalist and I'm open to everything," she told weekly Sedmička.
Zagorova never dreamed she would still be able to sell halls led by her beloved Lucerne or sing at huge festivals. By one remarkable thing she also talked about the magazine made it possible.
"I am very grateful for it, because it is wonderful. As the generation changes, and as the range of people getting older, it's great. It never occurred to me that I would see something like my age," she said.
