The exhibition "Journey of Life" by the great director of cinematography, Dr. Ramses Marzouk, will open at the creative center of the Prince Taz Palace in Al-Khadafah district at the time of 7:00 pm.
The exhibition includes 100 photographs, including the works he filmed in films in which he worked as director of photography, as well as photographs taken by Marzouk by Egypt's most important and famous lens of monuments and tourism.
Marzouk was born in 1940 and received his doctorate at the Sorbonne in 1983. He was a member of the Egyptian Film and Photography Association, the Egyptian International Salon Society, and was also president of the Young Film Society in 1960. He also worked at the French photography factory in 1966, teaching at the Higher Institute of Film Studies, France in 1982 and the Faculty of Communications and the Arts, France in 1985.
His first exhibition took place at the Museum of Modern Art in 1960. He also held an exhibition in Rome in 1965, a solo exhibition in Paris in 1970 and 1973, an exhibition at the Tent Festival in France 2004 and Havana in Cuba in 2009. He participated in many group exhibitions in Rome, Paris, Moscow and Cairo. He won the State Prize in Cinematography in 2005, the Fars Medal in Arts and Letters from the French Ministry of Culture in November 2015.
