Footballers "Ventspils" have a difficult mission in Portugal – Football

The first match of both teams last week at Daugava Stadium in Riga was won by Vitoria footballers 3-0, making a broad step towards qualifying for the playoffs.

Also in this match, Ventspils team will have to go without Ukrainian goalkeeper Konstantin Mahnovsky, who received a ten-match disqualification from UEFA because of his racist expression in Malta.

Last season, Vitoria won fifth place in the Portuguese Championship. Kurzeme club is currently in fourth position in the Latvian upper league after 21 rounds.

In the third round of the European League Qualifying Tournament, Latvian national champion "Riga" still plays.
