Two Latvian-based Latvian startup companies enter the prestigious US business magazine "Inc." created by the 5000 fastest growing companies on August 14th. Printed ranks 24th, Print ranks 564th, both companies report. Inc.5000 is a list of U.S. private companies first compiled in 1982 and has become a hallmark of business success.
Inc. top of the magazine is based on corporate investor data from 2015 to 2018. To apply for the roster, the minimum turnaround was to reach at least $ 100,000 in 2015 and $ 2 million in 2018. Freestar, an Arizona-based marketing and advertising company, ranked first on this year's list with an increase of 36,680%. Printify.Inc has grown 7926% over the past three years, placing it 1st in the fastest growing San Francisco group, 2nd in technology companies and 5th in California, where Printify was born in 2015 by Jānis Berdigans, Artis Kehris and Gatis Dukurs. Draugiem Group's Print is ranked 564th with 786% growth. Presa Inc. works for the North American market with departments in the United States (Los Angeles, California and Charlotte, North Carolina) and Mexico (Tijuana). European orders are provided by the Latvian subsidiary Print Latvia. To grow faster in Spanish-speaking countries, a company office was opened this summer in Barcelona. Printful is a private company owned by Lauris Liberts and Agris Tamanis, founders of the Draugiem Group.
The headquarters of Print and the European plant, employing a team of more than 250 people, will continue to be in Latvia, the company promises. It employs more than 600 people worldwide. To date, Print has printed more than 11.5 million products, while customers have sold more than $ 540 million (€ 478 million).
