The new skeletal player of Latvia, Andrea Steele, won fifth place in the Eagles in Austria on Friday in the first European Cup, and repeated the progress of his best career.
Madelina Smith of Great Britain, who was the fastest on both trips, became the winner, while Steele lost 1.65 seconds from her two runs. From the pocket of honor, Latvian dissipates 0.38 seconds.
Both steel trips showed the fastest sixth time.
Meanwhile, another Latvian spokeswoman, Darte Zunte, took 13th place on Friday for 31 competitors.
Meanwhile, the Latvies men's competition was more modest. Krista Netlaus won 11th place, while only 15-year-old Elvis Veinbergs was ranked 17th among 34 riders. For Weinberg, it was only the second start of the European Cup.
The winner of last season's European Cup winner, Netlus, is still struggling with injuries that prevent them from starting to run in full revenge.
On Friday, Eagles will hold another round of the European Cup.
In turn, a sketch of the new World Cup will begin in December on the Sigulda track.
