Fossil Unveils First Cheap SmartWatch with New Chip Power Saving – Tech News

Android users have been looking for a parallel to the latest Apple Watch, which impressed many with its slim bezels and ECG heart rate monitor. The new fossils of Fossil may reach the nearest place.

While most of the other wireless clocks are on a two-year-old Qualcomm chip, Fossil's latest model is the first smart clock available for the new Snapdragon Wear 3100, a more efficient chip that ensures that even electricity users will not find themselves out of the battery end of the day.

Shortly after the release of the Montblanc 2 summit, which also offers the 3100 Snapdragon for just under $ 1,000 (RM4,191), Fossil unveiled its new quadrant model off the price with the same battery saving it.

Most of the current smartwatches will struggle to survive more than a day of using heavy tracking GPS tracking heart rate.

But for anyone who forgets their luggage, the 3100 chip will power into a special mode that manages to squeeze two days of basic time to tell out of the last percent of the battery.

The sport comes in six colors, and is suitable for multiple tracks with a variety of styles.

Judging by the dimensions, the fossil sport also will not look in place on the softer skin joints, which has been a problem for usually smart chunky smartwatches, designed primarily for men who wear.

The fossil sport says there is a thickness of 12mm, not much higher than the average analog clock, while the interior diameter is 41mm or 43mm compact.

As with most new models, Sport includes NFC, which allows users to pay with their watch in countries that support Google Pay. – dpa
