Police have been searching for a seizure of Mnet's "Production X 101" offices.
According to Mnet on July 31, the police secured materials from the "Produce X 101" offices in the CJ ENM building in Sangam. An Mnet source explained, "The police are currently conducting their search and seizure now [as of 1:40 p.m. KST]. "
"Producing X 101" is the fourth and latest in Mnet's popular "Produce 101" series. The show recently ended with group X1 forming with Kim Yo Han, Kim Woo Seok, Han Seung Woo, Song Hyeong Joon, Cho Seung Youn, Son Dong Pyo, Lee Han Gyul, Nam Do Hyun, Cha Jun Ho, Kang Min Hee, and Lee Eun Sang.
However, after the conclusion of the show, the results were questioned when fans noticed that the gaps in poll numbers between coaches were multiple of 7494,442. The staff originally stated that they had no comment, but as the controversy grew, they released an explanation that the rankings were correct and that they had submitted a request for an inquiry.
Mnet's statements were not enough, however, to put an end to the controversy. Some viewers created a commission and began the legal process of securing a legal representative and filing a case against Mnet.
