Google will offer to call for help with the "Phone" app

Google announced on Thursday that a new feature will be available on the phone
the crises will automatically deploy on Android devices. Police, fire and health services will be able to receive all necessary information without the user speaking.

The option will use a synthetic voice to communicate with the rescue services. This will allow users to express themselves even if they are physically unable to speak due to illness, trauma or accident, reports Club.

The tool will be included in the future version of the "Phone" application for Android. Three new buttons will appear: "Police", "Doctor" and "Fire". Pressing one of the buttons, a call will be launched and a synthetic voice will take over.

Helpers will receive a message like this: "You are contacted by an automated voice service started by the caller. He may not be able to speak or hear. My place is (ADDRESS) The code for my place is (code). I need medical help."

The feature will be directly linked to the mobile phone, whether the data is enabled on the smartphone or not. The service will be deployed first in the United States and then in Europe. It will concern Pixel smartphones and other Android smartphones.
