Leen Meijaard was appointed to the successor of Leo Van Wake as the Supervisory Board (SB) on Friday at the Ajax General Meeting. Van Vijk remained as a member of the supervisory board.
Mr. Arad, 57, has experience in the business world and the Ministry of Finance, and has been a member of the supervisory committee since April 14, 2016. Van Vijk was chairman at the time.
The Ajax supervisory board still consists of five people. In addition to the new chairman, Maig Arad van Wake, Danny Blind, Ernst Liggert and Peter Mansing.
During the meeting at the Johan Cruyff Auditorium, he was named Statutory Director, which means he takes greater responsibility in the commercial field.
