The head of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia, Ambassador Sam Fabrizki, will remain in Karagauvik today, where he will make decisions on project financing that will contribute to improving the business environment in 34 local governments.
With EU financial support of over 5 million euros, these local self governments will implement projects related to the preparation of technical documents and planning as well as business infrastructure projects, which will contribute to creating a more positive business environment and strengthening competitiveness at the local level.
During his visit to Kragujevac, Fabrizi will meet Mayor Kragujevac Radomir Nikolik to visit the building of the Academy of Legacy Nikola Kok Jankovic, whose construction is funded with funds from the city of Kragujevac and the European Investment Bank, said the EU delegation.
The EU supports the activities of the EU PRO, a program that contributes to the more balanced socio-economic development of Serbia, with a total of 25 million euros. The program strives to increase the competitiveness of small and small enterprises, improve the business environment and improve social cohesion in 99 units of local self-government in two regions: Sumadia, Western Serbia and South and Eastern Serbia.
