Slovaks have more than $ 26 billion in rentals, the number still growing economy



The volume of housing loans at the end of September reached 26.5 billion euros. The volume of loans this year increased by almost 2.5 billion euros, an increase of 161 million euros a month. This is the current data of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS).

Loans for the construction of savings amounted to € 2.38 billion at the end of the nine months, with loans between loans and credit. From the beginning of the year, the Slovak regulator adjusted the reporting of loan data.

The reason is a change in the legislation of mortgage banking and the following changes in reporting since the beginning of the year. So, new times are not available for sub-categories of housing loans.

In terms of the proportion of individual banks lending to housing, the largest part of Slovenská sporiteňaa was 27.73 percent. Followed by VUB with a share of 20.38%, and Tatra Banka with a 14.3% stake.

For the construction of savings loans, the largest bank for building savings was the largest donor. It represented 82.75 percent. This was followed by the other companies operating in Slovakia, namely Wüstenrot Building Savings Bank and Csob Building Savings Bank.
