The head of the Slovak Diabetes Society, Katrina Raslova, has shown how to prevent diabetes.
To prevent type 2 diabetes, regular exercise and healthy eating are the most important, Resšlová said that exercising or any regular exercise with higher energy expenditure is the basis for future health.
In the 2002 Diabetes Prevention Program, physical activity has a greater impact than diabetes prevention drugs. Rašlová added that this also applies to other health problems. "I started the movement a day a few years ago, and I canceled the habit of sitting and working the next day or postponing it the next day or when I came back from a five-mile walk, so I could plant two drugs that I took for high blood pressure, – SDS. Regular brain movement also stimulates the production of happy hormones – endorphins.
Also we should not forget about nutrition. "Every meal should be perfectly balanced with a single portion of fruits or vegetables, fruits and vegetables contain fibers, vitamins and particles that positively affect processes in the human body," says Rašlová.
On the contrary, poor diet and excessive consumption of high-energy foods with low fiber content cause excess weight and obesity. "This is the most important factor in the development of diabetes," said SDS Deputy Zbynek Schroner.
Type 2 diabetes represents more than 90% of all diabetes cases in the world, which experts say affect lifestyle and the environment. It was once spoken as a diabetes, but it has been found in children and youth.
