Serbian coach Milutin Sredovic "Miecho", coach of the South African club Orlando Pirates, is close to taking over Zamalek in the next period.
A source in the technical committee for the selection of the technical director revealed that the committee identified three coaches to select one of them to coach the team.
Serbian Meicho was first on the list, followed by his compatriot Alexander Stanovic, the former Qadisiyah coach from Saudi Arabia.
Zamalek officials have reopened a negotiation row with Argentinian Ramon Diaz, to persuade him to change some of the conditions required in his contract with the White Castle.
