The Red Crescent continues its humanitarian efforts in the remote areas of the West Coast
The United Arab Emirates Red Crescent Society continued to distribute humanitarian and humanitarian assistance to the people of Yemen's western coast in order to increase the capacity of families unable to cope with the current humanitarian situation.
In this context, the PA distributed 35 tons of food and goods to the most needy families in the areas of Al-Fayazah, Deir 'Abdallah, Al-Nakhi, La Namsa, Al-Hawarit, Hamidiya, Dukhan, Derhami, Al-Nisa and the remote areas on the West Coast.
More than 15,000 Yemenis benefited from the assistance, mainly children, women and the elderly.
The Committee also continued its efforts to examine the health cases of the Yemenite families in the remote areas of the West Coast and to provide treatment services through the mobile clinic.
Said al-Qa'abi, director of humanitarian operations in Yemen, said that the ongoing distribution of food aid and the implementation of projects and services for development in the Yemeni arena came within the framework of the UAE's support for brotherhood and a humanitarian program developed by the Red Crescent Authority of the United Arab Emirates to meet the needs of families Yemenis in the liberated coastal areas west of Yemen in a number of vital areas such as food, medicine and essential equipment.
The beneficiary families thanked the United Arab Emirates for their continued support of the Yemenite people and appreciated the efforts of the UAE Red Crescent Society in this regard.
